About the event

This 1993 documentary film is a mesmerizing journey of Leon Theremin's life and trials in creating technology which could allow one's bodily motions to trigger music. His experiments led him to great discoveries in early technology, while also challenging his personal life as he met a magnetic dancer who led him from his marriage into a romantic collaboration between their talents and fascinations. Everyone interested in musical synthesis, synesthesia and MOOG would appreciate this film, directed by Steve M. Martin, also known for The Addams Family (1991).
