About the event

Ben Cantil, aka Encanti, has been mastering Ableton over nearly twenty years and teaching for around 15 years. His in-depth exploration of the program and use in performance ushered his path to becoming an Adjunct Professor of Berklee College of Music's Electronic Music Production & Engineering program at their Valencia, Spain campus; touring the world with the audio-visual duo Zebbler Encanti Experience, and working alongside such greats as Mr. Bill, EOTO, and Shpongle. Presently earning his PhD. in sound design in Scotland, Ben has developed his Ableton course over the past few years, creating a community of badass producers spanning the planet, many of whom have participated in the affiliated Applecross Collective record company, releasing the pieces they worked meticulously on in Ben's class. Ben's enthusiasm is contagious as he guides students to new perspectives of workflow, nuances of electronic composing, mixing and mastering, and synthesis.

This class is for those who are pretty fresh to Ableton and looking to develop structure, direction and dedication to their workflow, while also connecting with others who are passionate about the same.

Work the perk!

Encanti and Kitty Savage go way back as friends and collaborators, and thanks to this connection, Ben has permitted Kitty to stream his class live and in replays for producers in Asheville. Please join us in person to absorb the lessons, connect with other producers, and dedicate yourself to your craft in a meaningful way for starting 2024 off with creative vision and productive processes that continually expand our curiousity and expression.

Encanti's course is $150 to take on your own at home, and if that's what you'd rather do, enroll here!

There are various levels depending on your experience.

Students are welcome to arrive early and stay for an hour after the class.

The Green Room has plenty of gummies, pre-rolls, and infused kratom and delta 9 drinks to check out and enjoy during class.

Please thank The Green Room for hosting by grabbing some goodies!
